Ordering Your Pet Portraits

This page gives you some idea of how we do business and what you can expect if you order from us. We are passionate about good quality oil paintings so are happy to take whatever time necessary to go through this process with you.

 

To place an order fill in the ‘Order Form’ attaching photos if possible.

These first photos do not need to be of the best quality but it is much easier to suggest settings and backgrounds if we see the subject(s) first. At this stage no payment is required.

 

We look at the images and together come up with compositions from your instructions.

This is obviously one of the most important stages to get right and it may be necessary for you to take more photos but we will guide you through this process.

 

You then confirm the order.

You will receive an email detailing the total cost, and request for a £50 deposit prior to work on your portrait commencing. The easiest and quickest way to pay the deposit is to use Google Checkout below. However if you wish, cheques are also accepted. An approximate delivery date is also given.


 

The artist can then start work and the work should be finished in about 4 - 6 weeks.

We will send you an email with a picture or scan of the painting. At this stage it should only be necessary to make minor changes (if any).

 

Only after you are fully happy with the painting do you give final approval.

The remainder of the order is then payable through Google Checkout or by cheque. When the balance is paid we despatch the painting.
When you receive the painting you still have 1 month to decide if you are completely happy with it. If not just return it to us for a complete refund or to request changes. All we ask is that you report any damage within 7 days of receipt.

The full process should take 8 - 10 weeks from order confirmation and receipt of deposit.
