Frequently Asked Questions

Below we have some of the most asked questions. Any other queries or if you need something clarified, then please feel free to contact us.

How do I place an order?

You may place an order by completing the Order Form.

At this stage no payment is required. Only when we have suitable photos and you confirm the order a deposit of £50 is needed - payable either with your debit or credit card through Google Checkout or by cheque, if more convenient. Your deposit is fully refundable if you do not wish to proceed (prior to work commencing).

How long does it take?

After we receive your order confirmation and deposit it takes approximately 4-6 weeks for the artist to do the painting. Changes take 1-2 days plus time for your approval. Delivery takes approximately 2 weeks therefore, allow 8-10 weeks in total.

How much does it cost?

Please see full details of prices here.

What guarantee do I have?

We offer a full refund if not completely satisfied, however as our customers are included at the different stages of production this should not happen. Further details can be found via the Terms and Conditions link at the bottom of each page.

Do you have a gallery & can I visit?

To keep prices down we do not have a gallery. This means you pay only for good art, not staff & premises.

Do you do gift vouchers?

Yes we do.
These can be for any amount in £ sterling or for a particular size and style with no price attached. Vouchers remain valid for 12 months.

Do you do other subjects?

Yes, please send us your photos via email or the Contact us form and we will call you back to discuss the possibilities.

What is your telephone number?

07980 803203 from UK
44 (0) 7980 803203 from ROI

Why does the price change with more than 1 subject?

There are 2 reasons. Firstly it takes more time to get the composition right with 2 or more subjects. Secondly, much of the time spent on any painting is spent on the head and face so 2 or more subjects takes considerably longer than for a single subject.

Can you come and take the photo?

Sorry, to keep prices competitive we need you to submit your own photos but we will give you as much help as you need.

What camera should I use?

Unless you have a very good quality print already, we suggest you use the best quality digital camera you can get hold of. Mobile phone cameras are not suitable as the image quality is not good enough. More information can be found here.

Do you frame the paintings?

Canvases are usually put on stretchers, bonded onto board or can be supplied as rolled canvas.
We do not provide a framing service as it is usually better to get it done locally.
More information can be found on the Tell me more page.
