Horse Portrait: "Ice Maiden", 12" x 15"

Commissioned by Tony Bailey for fiancé Kim Tutt.

Customer Comments:
Sadly Ice died on 18/4/2008, at 29 years old, after Kim owning her for almost 21 of those years.  Throughout Ice's life it became apparent to everyone who came to know her, including her vet Mr Eryl Davies, that Ice would not be forced.  She was  particularly intelligent and strong willed, who, if not asked politely would choose to fight.
This strong character which you have so remarkably captured in the painting, served Ice well in the fact that she defied the odds a number of times, and in the end, she died how she had lived, with dignity, choosing to do it HER WAY.  Therefore, when the painting is framed, I will include the title:

                          ICE MAIDEN,  HER WAY

She was loved and adored and is very sadly missed.
Fortunately, we have Ice's son, Arctic Storm, who definitely has her fighting spirit, as a constant reminder of her strong, willful character.
We also have your wonderful painting, which is so lifelike and totally captures Ice's spirit.
I would like to say thank you so much, I am delighted with it and will definitely be asking if you will paint her son, Storm, in the future.  Also a big thank you to my fiancé Tony, who found and chose you to paint Ice, despite the fact that there were no paintings of horses displayed on your website.
Thank you, Thank you Thank you
Kim Tutt and Tony Bailey.
